Our Warranty
Durable Floors is committed to supplying high-quality flooring products that are manufactured to consistent standards.
Our products are covered by a 3-year warranty against manufacturing defects, subject to the terms and conditions outlined below.
The warranty applies to defects in the product that are attributable to the manufacturing process and that arise during normal and intended use of the product.
What the Warranty Covers
The 3-year warranty covers genuine manufacturing defects, including defects in materials or workmanship that affect the product's intended performance.
The warranty applies to the original purchaser and is limited to the affected product.
What the Warranty Does Not Cover
The warranty does not cover damage, deterioration or failure resulting from:
- Incorrect or unsuitable installation.
- Failure to follow the recommended installation instructions.
- Use of unsuitable adhesives, cleaning products or chemicals.
- Installation on an unsuitable, uneven, damp or contaminated surface.
- Damage caused by excessive force, impact, dragging or dropping heavy objects.
- Damage caused by vehicles, machinery or loads beyond the product's intended application.
- Normal wear and tear arising from use.
- Cuts, alterations or modifications made to the product after purchase.
- Damage caused by improper cleaning, maintenance or storage.
- Damage caused by environmental conditions or circumstances outside the manufacturer's control.
- Products that have been incorrectly handled, stored or transported after delivery.
- Cosmetic changes or variations that do not affect the product's intended performance.
Installation and Product Suitability
Durable Floors products should be installed and used in accordance with the applicable product and installation instructions.
Where there is uncertainty regarding the suitability of a product, installation method, adhesive or application, customers are encouraged to contact Durable Floors before installation for advice.
This is particularly important for high-traffic and heavy-duty applications where the appropriate product and installation method should be confirmed before installation.
Warranty Period
The warranty period is 3 years from the date of purchase, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
The warranty applies to manufacturing defects arising within the applicable warranty period.
Warranty Claims
Warranty claims and any associated return, inspection and remedy process are handled in accordance with our Delivery & Returns Policy.
Customers who believe they have a product defect should refer to the Delivery & Returns Policy for information on how to raise a claim and the applicable process.
