Several classrooms received an upgrade from worn and tired carpeting to Dura Tile flooring.

Carpet can become difficult to keep looking neat in a busy classroom, particularly once it has worn through. Dura Tile provides a durable, long-lasting surface that is easy to clean and can handle the everyday movement of chairs and desks.

The tiles are water resistant, making spills easier to manage, while their slip-resistant and flame-retardant properties provide additional safety in a classroom environment.

The interlocking tile system also allows different colours to be incorporated into the floor design, helping to define or demarcate particular areas within a classroom.

Another benefit for a working school environment is the speed of installation. Dura Tiles can be installed relatively quickly, helping to keep disruption to classrooms to a minimum.

The client initially upgraded a number of classrooms and was so pleased with the result that they subsequently asked for additional classrooms to be fitted with Dura Tile flooring.
